Hi, I'm Dr. Elena Vance — and I help engineers become AI/ML practitioners.
I've spent the last 15 years architecting systems that bridge the gap between research labs and global production environments.
My mission is to strip away the hype and provide you with the rigorous, hands-on training required to build real-world intelligence.
Welcome to a learning environment designed for builders, by builders.
My Story
My journey started long before the current AI boom. I began in traditional software engineering, obsessed with how data moves through distributed systems. Over 15 years, I watched "Big Data" evolve into "Machine Learning," and I saw a recurring problem: brilliant engineers were struggling to move models out of Jupyter notebooks and into production.
I've led teams at Fortune 500 companies, architected global data pipelines, and navigated the transition from monolithic architectures to AI-driven microservices. Every project taught me the same lesson: theory is a foundation, but production is a different beast entirely.
I founded EldarTeachAI because I wanted to create the resource I wish I had when I started—a place where the focus isn't just on the "how," but the "why" and the "at scale." I'm here to be your mentor as you navigate this complex, exciting landscape.
Areas I Focus On
What I Tell My Students
"I tell everyone who's starting out: don't get lost in the math until you've felt the pain of a model failing in production. The intuition comes from the struggle."
"Master the fundamentals of orchestration before you chase the newest library. A robust pipeline is more valuable than a slightly more efficient optimizer."
"A perfect model on your local machine is worthless. An 80% model that scales and serves users is a product. Focus on the deployment."
Why I Teach Live
There's an energy in live interaction that pre-recorded videos can't replicate. When we're together in a live cohort, we debug in real-time. We face the unexpected "out of memory" errors together. This accountability and the ability to ask "but what if we did this instead?" is where the deepest learning happens. It's not just a course; it's a shared engineering sprint.

Personal Guidance
If you're unsure where to start, I recommend my MLOps Foundations cohort. It's the most practical way to understand how modern AI systems are actually built and maintained.
